1) Skin Care
If the skin is not cared properly it suffers from pigmentation, pimples,premature aging, becomes dull.
It happens due to the excessive intake of alcohol, tea, coffee, spicy, oily and fried foods.
Stress, tension, pollution and chemicals are also among the major causes that result in acne, pimples and rashes.
Remedies:
a)A paste made from one teaspoon each of sandalwood powder and turmeric mixed with milk, is very good.
b)Fullers powder mix with yogurt also relieves from sunburns.
c)One tablespoon mixed with 2-3 drops of honey apply on your face and wash it after 10 minutes.It acts as a sunblock and leaves your skin smooth and supple.
d)To get rid of premature aging apply fresh aloe vera gel to the skin.
e) Massage with coconut oil before going to bed is also beneficial before going to skin.
2) Hair Care
Poor diet, illness and deficiencies of any particular vitamin and mineral affects the quality of hair and problems like dandruff, thinning hair, balding, premature graying etc. spoil the hair.
Regularly cleaning and brushing the hair is very important. When the hairs are brushed, oil-producing glands in the scalp get stimulated. This natural oil makes the hair glossy and healthy. To give extra shine to the hair, after washing rinse the hair with some lemon juice mixed in a cup of warm water.
Remedies:
a)Dandruff can be removed by mixing one part of lemon juice into two parts of coconut oil and then massage it into the roots of your hair.Wash it with luke warm water.
b)Increase green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits and sprouts in the diet. Take more proteins, milk, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soya beans, whole grains and nuts.It will help in reducing hair loss.
c)Massage of scalp with coconut oil is also very helpful.
3)Nail Care
Healthy nails are pink, smooth and evenly shaped.
The root cause of nail disorders like splitting and flaky nails, white spots, vertical ridges or discoloration of the nail bed is an improper diet.
Remedy:
To make the hands soft and nourish the nails, prepare a cream of almond oil and honey and leave it on overnight.
4)Diet
It is the most important factor that is required for overall beauty.Condition of our body depends upon the intake of our diet.Healthy diet prevents various diseases and keeps our body fit.To keep the body fresh one must take plenty of water.Doctors advice to take 8-10 glasses of water in a day.Drink 2 glass of lukewarm water in the morning empty stomach with a spoonful of honey and lemon juice added to it. It’s good to clean your stomach, and detoxify the toxins. With the consumption of this skin starts glowing within a month.
Fruits & vegetables (cereals & grains, seedy fruits, citrus fruits, carrot, cabbage, celery, green leafy vegetables, apples, melons, peaches, pears etc.) are rich in dietary fibers that reduces incidence of coronary heart diseases, cancer of intestinal tract, piles, obesity, diabetes, constipation, dental caries and gallstones.
Non-vegetarian diet contains cholesterol saturated fatty acids that are the root cause of diseases as coronary heart problems, cerebro-vascular accidents (strokes), eye disorders & high blood pressure. With only about 60% of its contents useful for human body, the rest 40% contains harmful toxins.
